MEMORY DEVICE:
It refers to a device that is used to store information for use in a computer or related computer hardware device. It is like human brain which stores memory's.
TYPES OF MEMORY DEVICES:
1. PRIMARY MEMORY: It is the main memory of computer system accessing data from. Primary memory is faster because it is a internal memory of computer.
(a). RAM(Random Access Memory): It is the main memory of computer also known as temprory memory or cash memory. It is a volatile memory.
(b). ROM(Read Only Memory): It is a permanent & non volatile memory. The information of ROM is decided by computer manufacturer.
2. SECONDARY MEMORY: Secondary memory is a memory where program & instructions can be kept on a long time basis as it is a non volatile memory but slower than primary memory.
